Tyson Weihs

Tyson Weihs is the co-founder and CEO of ForeFlight, a Boeing Company, the market leading provider of integrated flight applications for personal, business, military and commercial aviation.

Weihs is a recipient of the Eren Ozmen Entrepreneur of the Year Award, the Godfrey L. Cabbot Award, a recipient of the prestigious Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association General Aviation Safety Award for measurably improving the safety of flight and a member of the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame. In addition to serving on the NBAA board, Tyson also serves on the boards of the General Aviation Manfuacturer’s Association as well as the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.

Weihs is an active instrument-rated turbojet pilot and holds multiple type ratings for business aviation aircraft. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a computer science degree from Trinity University in San Antonio and has an MBA from Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Management.
