Ranieri Jeff

Chief Meteorologist at NBC Bay Area

Ranieri Jeff has extensive experience in meteorology and broadcasting. Ranieri started their career as a Production Assistant, Floor Director, and Camera Operator at WESH 2 CW18 in 1996. From 1998 to 2000, they worked as a News Anchor, Reporter, Weather Anchor, and Editor at WUFT News. In 2000, they joined KDRV-TV and KDKF-TV as a Meteorologist and Feature Reporter. Ranieri then moved on to KCRA 3 & My58 Television, where they worked as a Meteorologist from 2001 to 2004. In 2004, they joined NBC, Today Show, and MSNBC as a Correspondent and Meteorologist, serving all platforms and NBC Universal Networks. Ranieri also worked as a Weekend Today Meteorologist and on MSNBC Weekdays and the NBC Weather Plus Network. Since 2009, Ranieri has been the Chief Meteorologist at NBC Bay Area, where they provide meteorological coverage during various news programs and occasionally reports for NBC News and conducts live feature reporting in the Bay Area.

Ranieri Jeff has pursued their education focusing on telecommunications and broadcast journalism at the University of Florida. Additionally, they also studied meteorology at Mississippi State University, where they did not obtain a specific degree. Following that, they acquired the AMS Seal in meteorology, indicating their expertise in this field.
