Vianey Arana is an accomplished meteorologist and climate/science reporter with extensive experience in broadcast journalism. Currently serving as a meteorologist and contributor at NBC Bay Area since September 2016, Vianey also holds the role of NASA Solar System Ambassador at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory since February 2021. Previous positions include weather anchor and news reporter at NBC News KTSM, and weather anchor/reporter for Noticias Univision Boston. Vianey's early career involved various roles in production and reporting, including internships at MUNDO FOX and ABC7 KABC-TV. Vianey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from California State University, Northridge.
