Danielle Gillis

Danielle Gillis is a seasoned broadcast professional with extensive experience in producing news content. Currently serving as Platform Manager at NBC Washington since June 2021, Danielle line produces the 4pm show, coordinates breaking news, and collaborates with co-platform managers to deliver unique and engaging evening news segments. Previous roles include Line Producer, Digital Media Producer, Associate Producer, and News Apprentice at WJZ | CBS Baltimore, where Danielle honed skills in content gathering, researching, and live coordination. Danielle's foundational experience includes internships with CBS News, CNN NEWSOURCE, and other outlets, developing a strong background in story production and multimedia journalism. Danielle holds a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism and English from the University of Maryland.
