Melissa Younger

Melissa Younger is an accomplished Executive Producer with extensive experience in broadcast journalism, currently serving at NBC Washington since May 2022. Prior to this role, Melissa held the position of Executive Producer at NBC Boston from June 2019 to May 2022 and at WDSU from May 2016 to June 2019. Previous positions include Producer at WTAE-TV Hearst Pittsburgh and Producer at WYFF, where Melissa produced news and sports content for multiple platforms. Additionally, Melissa has a background in sports reporting and production, having worked at WBTW and CNYCentral, among others. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in TV, Radio & Film and a dual Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Spanish, and Psychology from Syracuse University.
