David Valdez

David Valdez is an experienced professional currently serving as the Executive Engagement Manager for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at NBCUniversal Media, LLC since December 2020. Prior to this role, David was the Manager of Guide Training & Development at Universal Studios Hollywood, where responsibilities included overseeing Studio Guide operations and leading the hiring and training processes. David also held the position of Director of Youth Development at the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles, where David launched and managed the YMCA Youth Institute, a digital media program aimed at enhancing academic success for high school students. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Studies from Yale University and a Master of Fine Arts in Classical Training – Acting from The A.C.T. Conservatory.
