Shahir Ahmed

Shahir Ahmed is an experienced finance professional with a comprehensive background in financial management within the entertainment and telecommunications industries. Shahir currently holds the position of Senior Finance Director for International TV Distribution at NBCUniversal, a role commenced in August 2018, after serving as Finance Director for Kids & Family Entertainment. Prior experience includes a Finance Manager role at Inmarsat from June 2015 to August 2018 and a Finance Manager position at CGI from February 2014 to June 2015. Shahir also worked at American Express, where titles included Senior Financial Analyst for Global Network Services and World Service, as well as Finance Analyst in the Finance Graduate Program from September 2010 to February 2014. Shahir began the career as a Finance Analyst at HJ Heinz from June 2008 to May 2009. Educational qualifications include a degree in Business Management & Accounting from Brunel University of London and completion of CIMA from 2011 to 2013.
