Lise Olivia Andrieux

Director, Visual Communications at NBD | Nostrum Biodiscovery

Lise Olivia Andrieux is a French-born scientist and designer who has been working in the field of visual communication for the past seven years. Lise is currently the head of visual communication at NBD | Nostrum Biodiscovery, a biotech company based in Barcelona, Spain. Andrieux's work focuses on the design of user interfaces and user experience for software products.

Previously, they worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, where they were involved in high-throughput sequencing and molecular evolution projects. Before that, they worked as a research associate at the GIS (Genome Institute of Singapore), where they worked on human stem cells and high throughput sequencing projects.

Andrieux obtained their PhD in Molecular Biology from the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, The Netherlands in 2005. During their time there, they worked on DNA repair and transcription, as well as transgenic mice.

They are on a team with Gloria Diaz - Chief Legal Officer, Martí Municoy - Director of Business Solutions, and Pablo Sierra - Chief Technology Officer. Their manager is Majeed Hosseiney, CEO.
