Lorenz Waldmeier has a wealth of experience in the field of science. From 2014 to present, they have been a Scientist at NBE-Therapeutics AG. From 2013 to 2014, they were an Associate Research Scientist at the same company, where they developed fully human antibodies using mammalian cell-based expression and display technology. From 2007 to 2013, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Basel, where they were also an IT-manager/Computerverantwortlicher and completed a Ph.D. in Cancer Research. From 2006 to 2007, they were a Scientific Associate at the University of Bern (Official). In 2006, they were a Scientific Associate at the University of Basel, where they established a bioluminescence-based method for measuring circadian rhythm in primary human fibroblasts.
Lorenz Waldmeier obtained a Certificate in Advanced English from the University of Cambridge in June 2000. Lorenz then attended Gymnasium Biel from 1996 to 2001. In 2002 and 2003, they took a Minor Subject in Informatics at the University of Basel. Lorenz obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Molecular Biology from the University of Basel in 2004, followed by a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Cell Biology in 2005. Finally, they completed a Ph.D. in Tumor Biology at the University of Basel in 2012.
