Johan Viklund

Johan Viklund is the Chief Technology Officer at the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure Sweden (NBIS) since May 2020. Prior to this role, Johan served as a Systemutvecklare at Uppsala University from April 2014 to May 2020 and worked as a PhD Student at the same institution from May 2005 to November 2013. Johan completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Evolutionary Biology at Uppsala University from 2005 to 2013, following an Engineer’s Degree in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from 2001 to 2005.
