Ohnmar McDonald

Ohnmar McDonald has extensive experience in network engineering and project management, currently serving as the Executive General Manager of Network Engineering at nbn® Australia since October 2016. McDonald has held multiple leadership roles within the company, including General Manager of Production Engineering and Technology Solutions Integration, as well as Executive Manager for Network Integration and HFC Deployment. Prior to nbn® Australia, McDonald worked at Ericsson as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing the installation and optimization of the NBN Fixed Wireless network. McDonald's career began at Ciber as an IT Consultant, where responsibilities included the global deployment of Satellite Network Operation Centres for Hughes Network Systems. McDonald holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Australia.
