Ruth Mahoney

Ruth Mahoney currently serves as the President of Wealth Management and Executive Vice President, Regional President at NBT Bank since August 2021. With extensive experience in leadership roles, Mahoney previously held various positions at KeyBank from May 2006 to August 2021, including Market President and Regional Retail Executive, where responsibilities encompassed strategic, economic, and community development in the Capital Region and Hudson Valley/Metro NY. Prior to KeyBank, Mahoney was at Bank of America from July 1996 to May 2006, where roles included Senior Vice President overseeing high net worth client teams and assuming P&L responsibility for the Albany/Hudson Valley market. Mahoney's career also spans leadership positions at Fleet Bank and earlier roles at Key Bank and Bank of Ireland, culminating in a solid foundation in banking and financial services management. Mahoney holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Communications from Marist University.
