Laura Fairchild

Laura Fairchild is an experienced professional in public health preparedness and emergency management, currently serving as the Plans, Training, Exercise, and Evaluation Unit Supervisor at the NC Department of Health and Human Services since August 2020. Prior roles include Emergency Management Planning Training and Exercise Officer and Program Specialist within the division, as well as a Management Analyst at the Highland Park Police Department, where Laura managed national accreditation and budget development. Previous experience includes logistics coordination with the City of Austin and extensive service in the U.S. Army in various logistics and supply chain management roles.
