Pamela Morrison

Pamela Morrison is a seasoned professional in the field of psychology and mental health, currently serving as the State Opioid Treatment Authority Coordinator for the NC Department of Health and Human Services since August 2020. Prior to this role, Pamela accumulated extensive experience at Coastal Horizons, where responsibilities included program management and clinical supervision for outpatient treatment programs, supervising a team of approximately 20 therapists. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and English from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Pamela has also held various positions in clinical settings and has provided crisis intervention and advocacy services, illustrating a strong commitment to supporting individuals with diverse mental health and substance use challenges.
