Rotimi Kukoyi is a dedicated public health advocate and leader, currently serving as the Senior Class President at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where engagement with over 4,500 students is a primary focus. Kukoyi's experience includes multiple internships, such as at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, contributing to policies that address medical debt for millions, and at the NC Department of Health and Human Services, where work on value-based care models aims to enhance healthcare quality and access across North Carolina. Additional roles encompass leadership positions with the Student Health Action Coalition, where Kukoyi oversees insurance enrollment efforts, and participation in the Duke-Margolis Institute for Health Policy, focusing on health disparities. An active member of the Campus Health Advisory Board, Kukoyi has successfully initiated health service improvements for students. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Health with a focus on Health Policy and Management, Kukoyi is also engaged with community health initiatives, alumni representation, and creative advising in the entertainment sector.
