Samuel Adams

Samuel Adams, C-MESH, CEA, currently serves as the Environmental Health Safety Coordinator at the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, a position held since December 2014. In this role, Samuel manages a comprehensive fire, safety, and environmental health program, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations. Prior experience includes 18 years as an Environmental and Safety Compliance Administrator with the Department of Justice, focusing on the development and implementation of safety policies aligned with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and Joint Commission standards. Samuel's career began in the United States Air Force as a Transportation Specialist from December 1987 to November 1991. Education includes attendance at the College of the Sequoias from 1983 to 1985 and graduation from Mt. Whitney High School in Visalia, CA, in 1983.
