Sarah Hoffert

Sarah Hoffert is a seasoned professional in health education and youth advocacy, currently serving as a Teen Pregnancy Prevention Initiatives Program Consultant at the NC Department of Health and Human Services since April 2024. Previous roles include Case Manager Interpersonal Violence Specialist at Appalachian State University and Community-Based Prevention Coordinator at the Children and Family Resource Center, where Sarah coordinated various adolescent parenting programs. With extensive volunteer experience, including a board membership at Vermont CARES, Sarah has contributed to non-judgmental HIV counseling and testing efforts. Sarah's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Human Sexuality (ABD) from Widener University, alongside multiple degrees in education and sociology from highly regarded institutions.
