Jeff Schellenberger has a strong background in coaching and leadership within the soccer industry. Starting in 1998, they served as the Head Women's Coach at Kutztown University, where they successfully developed the program into a top conference and regional team. jeff led the team to the NCAA Tournament in 2003. In 2007, they joined the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association as the Assistant Technical Director of Player Development and Coaching Education. In this role, they taught state-level coaching education courses, produced and edited coaching education manuals, created a GK course, and oversaw the ODP program. jeff also served as the spokesperson for the organization and assisted in the production of state youth soccer shows. jeff held this position until 2009. Currently, in 2022, they are the Level 2 Coaching Education Director at NC Fusion, where they manage the CV 8v8 Adult League and directs and manages a youth soccer club. jeff has completed the United Soccer Coaches Master Coach and Leadership Program.
Jeff Schellenberger completed their education with a Master of Education degree in Sport & Recreation Administration from Temple University from 1988 to 1992. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Randolph-Macon College from 1980 to 1984. In addition to their formal education, Jeff Schellenberger has also acquired additional certifications. jeff completed the US Soccer Grassroot Instructor Course through the U.S. Soccer Federation in 2018 and achieved the title of Master Coach from United Soccer Coaches in 2017.
