Lindsey Prather

Lindsey Prather is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in education, public service, and political campaigning. Currently serving as a Representative for the North Carolina General Assembly since January 2023, Lindsey previously held the position of Assistant Director of Admission at the University of North Carolina at Asheville since July 2019. As a candidate for the North Carolina House 115 in Buncombe County from December 2021 to January 2023, Lindsey demonstrated a commitment to public engagement. Additionally, Lindsey's experience includes roles as a Graduate Student Assistant at Western Carolina University, a Social Studies Teacher, and a Special Education Teacher in Buncombe County Schools. Lindsey holds a Master of Public Affairs from Western Carolina University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of North Carolina Asheville.
