Chris Baker, MA, has extensive experience in the solar energy and education sectors. Currently serving as Customer Success & Community Outreach Manager at NC Solar Now, Inc. since 2014, Chris has held multiple roles including Sales Operations Manager and Quality and Safety Manager, overseeing project management, site visits, inventory procurement, and operations support for solar photovoltaic installations. Prior experience includes teaching exceptional children at J. H. Rose High School, where Chris developed lesson plans and coordinated individual education plans. As an Energy Intern for the City of Washington, Chris contributed to the development of a residential energy use survey and presented findings to the Utility Commission. Additionally, as an Adjunct Professor at East Carolina University, Chris taught sociology courses, including remote education for inmates. Chris holds a Master of Arts in Sociology and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Anthropology from East Carolina University.
