Poonam Gupta

Poonam Gupta is the Director General at NCAER and a Member of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council. With extensive experience in various economic institutions such as the World Bank Group, National Institute of Public Finance, and IMF, Gupta holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland, along with MA degrees in Economics from both the University of Maryland and Delhi School of Economics. Gupta also obtained a BA in Economics from Hindu College, University of Delhi.
