Shushant Jain

Shushant Jain is a seasoned professional in the field of neuroscience with extensive experience in leadership and research. Currently serving as Director of Discovery at Ncardia since February 2022, Shushant previously held the position of Group Leader at Charles River from August 2017 to February 2022. Prior experience includes heading the Cellomics Facility at DZNE - German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases from January 2013 to May 2016 and working as a Post Doctoral Fellow at VU medisch centrum between June 2007 and December 2012, focusing on the development of high content/high throughput assays for Parkinson's Disease. Shushant holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics of Neuroscience from UCL (2003 - 2007) and a Bachelor's Degree in Genetics from The University of Manchester (1999 - 2003), complemented by foundational education at Bury Grammar School Boys (1986 - 1999).
