Divya Natesan

Divya Natesan has a diverse work experience starting from 2009. Divya began their career at Infosys Technologies Limited as a Systems Engineer Trainee, where they gained expertise in developing DotNet and Java applications. Divya later became a Systems Engineer and received an excellence award for designing efficient data integration engines.

Divya also worked as an Intern at Infosys, where they completed a project on Medical Informatics, focusing on health prediction and drug interaction tools. Divya presented a paper on this project.

Moving on, Divya held various research positions at prominent organizations. Divya worked at Bell Laboratories, Alcatel-Lucent as a Security Technology Research Intern, developing a threat tree model and building a proof-of-concept application. Divya also worked at Visa as a Research Assistant, focusing on clustering similar web services for effective software re-use.

At IBM Research - Almaden, Divya was a Research Project Member, developing a machine learning model for annotating biomedical archives. Divya achieved excellent results with a total recall of over 95%.

Divya also worked as a Practicum Research Engineer at NASA Ames Research Center, investigating techniques to analyze social networks for scientific collaboration.

In 2013, Divya joined Google as a Security Engineer, gaining valuable experience in the industry.

Currently, Divya is working at NCC Group, where they have held various roles including Security Engineer, Senior Security Engineer, Principal Security Consultant, Technical Director, and most recently, North America Regional Practice Lead for Containerization and Orchestration Security Services.

Divya Natesan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Technology in Computer Science from Amrita University between 2005 and 2009. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Information Technology at Carnegie Mellon University from 2011 to 2013. In terms of additional certifications, Divya Natesan obtained an Oracle Developer Certificate from Oracle and Infosys Technologies Limited in October 2010. Divya also received certification in Java Programming, JDBC, UML, and J2EE from Sun Educational Services and NIIT in June 2006.
