Catherine Peele, CPM, is the Deputy Director of Maritime Operations & Programming at the N.C. Department of Transportation Ferry Division, a role they transitioned to in 2019 after serving as the Environmental Program Supervisor. Since joining the Ferry Division in 2014, they have been committed to improving processes and programs that benefit North Carolina's coastal communities. Catherine graduated from UNC Charlotte with a degree in Earth Science and currently resides in the Outer Banks, where they remain active in professional organizations and enjoy outdoor activities with their family.
