Zachary Clark has extensive experience in traffic engineering, currently serving as a Western Work Zone Traffic Control Engineer, State Incident Management Engineer, and Signal System Timing Engineer at the North Carolina Department of Transportation since March 2017. Previously, Zachary worked as a Senior Traffic Engineer at Kittelson & Associates, Inc. from September 2007 to March 2017, providing project management support and technical expertise. Earlier experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at both The Institute for Transportation Research and Education (ITRE) and the Highway Safety Research Center, contributing to significant projects in freeway bottleneck improvements and crash modification factors, respectively. Zachary holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University, a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Indiana University Bloomington.
