Jan Emil Paulo Collado, EIT, has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, obtained in 2018. Currently serving as an Engineer In Training at NCEES since June 2018, Jan has developed valuable skills in the engineering field. Previously, Jan worked as a Research Lab Assistant at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from July 2016 to November 2017, where Jan created and optimized a method for producing nanohair templates for Gecko-inspired dry adhesives. Additionally, Jan gained experience as a Billing Department Assistant at Home and Community Hospice from July 2015 to January 2016, focusing on data collection and billing calculations to enhance operational efficiency.

NCEES
NCEES (the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing professional licensure for engineers and surveyors. It develops, administers, and scores the examinations used for engineering and surveying licensure in the United States. It also facilitates professional mobility and promotes uniformity of the U.S. licensure processes through services for its member licensing boards and licensees. These services include the records program, study materials, credentials evaluations, exam administration, and more. The Council’s members are the engineering and surveying licensure boards from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
