Prior to this, Luigi held positions such as Area Manager at Tavola Spa and Head of Region at Sodalco Spa, where client development and sales performance were key objectives. Initial career experience included roles in sales and administration at various companies, starting from 1978. Education was completed at De Nicola Sesto San Giovanni from 1973 to 1977.
