Alessio Pagani

Alessio Pagani is an experienced Research Director at nChain, where responsibilities include managing cross-functional teams to implement blockchain technology solutions and publishing over five papers in peer-reviewed journals. Previous roles include Senior Researcher focused on Bitcoin network scalability and IMI Industrial Fellow supervising PhD candidates at the University of Bath. Alessio also held the position of Research Associate at The Alan Turing Institute, developing machine learning techniques for infrastructure networks, and co-founded one of Italy's first blockchain companies, KNOBS srls. Educational background includes a PhD in Information Technology from Politecnico di Milano, along with degrees in Computer Engineering.
