Sally Johnstone

Sally Johnstone is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in higher education management. Currently serving as President Emerita at NCHEMS since January 2023, Sally previously held the position of President at the National Center for Higher Education Management Systems from 2016 to 2023. Prior roles include Vice President for Academic Advancement at Western Governors University (2011-2016), Provost at Winona State University (2006-2011), and Executive Director at WCET at WICHE (1989-2006). Sally holds a Ph.D. in Research and Experimental Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as both a M.S. and B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Tech.
