Christopher Gonzales has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Christopher currently serves as the Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain at Cornerstone Building Brands, where they lead manufacturing, planning operations, S&OP, and supply chain teams. Previously, they held the role of Director of Manufacturing at the same company.
Prior to their current position, Christopher was the VP of Manufacturing at Merchants Metals, where they directed operations across multiple manufacturing facilities supporting distribution centers nationwide.
Christopher also worked at Baker Hughes, where they served as a Plant Manager and was responsible for strategy, financials, and activities at a large manufacturing and services facility.
At GE Oil & Gas, Christopher held roles as Global Materials Manager for Downstream Technology Systems and Surface Business, where they led business performance and improvements in inventory, delivery, and cost of operations.
Before that, they served on the board of directors at the Association of Maquiladoras of Sonora, contributing to the goals and objectives of the organization.
Christopher's earlier experiences include roles at GE Energy Management and General Electric, where they held positions as a Plant Manager, Materials Manager, Manager of Shop Operations, and participated in the Operations Management Leadership Program. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong focus on high performance, safety, quality, and strategic alignment.
Christopher Gonzales earned a Master's Degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Penn State University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas-Pan American, where they studied from 2000 to 2003.
