Rachel Jackson

Rachel Jackson has an extensive legal career, currently serving as a Judge at Lauderdale County Probate and Juvenile Court since June 1996, presiding over various cases including estates, guardianships, and child support matters. In addition, Rachel is a Partner at Jenkins|Dedmon Law Group, Municipal Attorney for the City of Ripley, and has held significant roles in numerous committees related to juvenile and family law, such as the Tennessee Supreme Court's Court Improvement Program and the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges. Rachel also played a pivotal role in drafting new Rules of Juvenile Procedure for Tennessee courts and has been active in legal education and legislative consulting. With a Juris Doctor from The University of Memphis and a Bachelor's degree from Lambuth University, Rachel's educational background complements a career dedicated to improving child welfare and legal processes.
