Shelly Spiro

Shelly Spiro serves as the President and CEO of Spiro Consulting, Inc., a Health Information Technology consulting firm since December 2004. Additionally, Shelly holds the position of Co-Chair for Work Group 10 at NCPDP and has been an active member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists since 1988, including a term as President from 2009 to 2010. Shelly was the Executive Director of the Pharmacy HIT Collaborative from August 2012 until November 2024 and previously served as Director for the Pharmacy e-Health Information Technology Collaborative from 2010 to 2012. With prior roles in various professional organizations and significant experience in pharmacy systems, Shelly has been instrumental in initiatives related to medication management and health outcomes for older persons. Shelly earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Illinois Chicago.
