Robert J. Waddell Jr. is an accomplished legal executive with extensive experience in providing strategic legal oversight in various sectors, particularly within the banking and technology industries. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Counsel at NCR Atleos since October 2016, Robert leads global law teams across several operational areas including information technology, global operations, and litigation. Notably, Robert played a senior role in the legal aspects of the NCR Corporation's spin-off, contributing to the establishment of NCR Atleos as a publicly traded entity. Prior to this, Robert held senior legal positions at NCR Corporation, McGuireWoods LLP, and Alston & Bird, specializing in commercial and antitrust litigation while managing complex global disputes. Robert holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Hampden-Sydney College.
