Ray Tadros has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Ray began their career at Nortel Networks in 1996, where they served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and led the mechanical design of various products. Ray also played a key role in managing a product transition after Nortel's acquisition of Promatory Communication IMAS.
In 2000, Tadros joined Movaz Networks as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they led the mechanical design of the flagship product, RAYexpress. During their time at Movaz Networks, they participated in preliminary testing and project scheduling, contributing to the success of the product.
Then, in 2004, Tadros moved on to NCR Corporation, where they held various leadership positions. Ray started as a Senior Principal Engineer and eventually worked their way up to the role of Executive Director of Engineering. In these roles, they were responsible for directing multiple engineering development teams and overseeing the hardware product portfolio in the Retail and Hospitality business units. Tadros managed the entire lifecycle of hardware products and led teams in developing products such as Point of Sale systems, printers, scanners, servers, and more.
In 2023, Tadros joined NCR Voyix as the Vice President of Engineering, continuing their leadership in the engineering field.
Ray Tadros holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Georgia Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 1991 to 1996. Ray also earned a Certificate in Bioengineering from the same institution in 1996. In 2015, they obtained a Master Certificate in Leadership and Supervision from the University of North Georgia. Moreover, they hold a Bachelor of Divinity degree from St. Athanasius Theological Seminary, which they completed from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, Ray Tadros has obtained various certifications, including Patent Holder from NCR Corporation in 2021, Six Sigma Yellow Belt from NCR Corporation in 2012, and EIT - Engineer In Training from Georgia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in 1996.
