Elena Varini

Elena Varini has been working in the field of regulatory affairs for Orthopedic companies for over 15 years. Elena started their career as a researcher at Istituti di Ricerca Codivilla Putti - Istituti Ortopedici Rizzoli in Bologna, Italy in 2002. In 2007, they became a Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Orthofix Srl and then moved to Regulatory Affairs Manager in 2009. Elena spent two years at that position before moving to Orthofix in 2011 as their International Orthopedics Regulatory Manager. After four years in that role, they moved to NCS Company in 2016 as their Director of Business Strategy & Operation.

Elena Varini earned their PhD in Bioengineering from Universita di Bologna - Istituti Ortodedici Rizzoli, Bologna. Elena also holds a Laurea quinquennale in Ingegnearia elettronica indirizzo biomedico from Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna.
