Nesdon Harris

Lead Mechanical Design Engineer at NCS Technologies

Nesdon Harris has a comprehensive work experience spanning over two decades. Nesdon started off as an Electro-Mechanical Designer at MFS Transportation Systems, Inc in 1998, where they were responsible for hardware packaging and installation of Electronic Toll Collection and Intelligent Transportation Systems. From 1999 to 2001, they worked at Northrop Grumman Litton Advanced Systems as a Senior Design Specialist, designing enclosures and routing cables for electronic warfare and microwave communication systems.

In 2001, Harris joined Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems as a Mechanical Engineer, where they focused on electro-mechanical packaging for radar systems. Nesdon specialized in high-efficiency power distribution networks and worked on projects for F-16 Block 60, F-22, and Joint Strike Fighter aircraft.

Harris then moved to Avionics Specialties, Inc in 2004, where they served as a Project Engineer and contributed to the electro-mechanical packaging of the Air Data System for the Joint Strike Fighter. Nesdon participated in detailed design, wind tunnel testing, and production follow-up.

From 2006 to 2008, Harris worked at Technology Advancement Group, Inc as a Project Engineer, designing rugged computer servers, workstations, and display systems. Nesdon also served as the mechanical project lead for a gunshot localization system.

In 2007, Harris joined Total Technical Services as a Mechanical Engineer and remained there until 2009. Nesdon then joined Germane Systems as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, where they continued their work in mechanical design.

In 2010, Harris split their time between two companies. Nesdon founded Nes Harris Designs, where they took on the role of Owner/Principal, providing industrial and product design services. Additionally, they joined NCS Technologies, Inc as a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer.

Throughout their career, Harris has gained expertise in various aspects of mechanical design engineering, including project management, electro-mechanical packaging, and industrial design.

Nesdon Harris's education history is as follows:

From 1981 to 1990, Nesdon Harris attended Drexel University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with a focus on Mechanical Engineering.

Prior to that, from 1979 to 1981, Nesdon Harris attended Rowan College at Burlington County where they pursued an Associate of Science in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Technology (ASMET).

In 1977 to 1978, Nesdon Harris attended DeVry Institute of Technology where they studied Electronic Engineering Technology, although it is unknown whether they obtained a degree from this institution.

Nesdon Harris's earliest educational background is from Burlington City High School, but no specific dates or degree information is provided for this period.
