Richard Zinser

SVP of Player Experience at NCSoft

Richard Zinser is currently the SVP of Player Experience at NCSoft. Richard has previously held positions at Atari, Cryptic Studios, Perpetual Entertainment, and Electronic Arts.

Richard has been in the customer support and service operations field for over 20 years. Richard started their career at Origin Systems in 1993 as the Director of Customer Support. Richard then moved to EA / Origin in 2000 and took on the role of Director, Customer Support. In this role, they were responsible for outsourcing operations, Account Management and Technical Support for online products, and Technical Support for Console and PC packaged goods products.

In 2005, Richard left EA and joined Perpetual Entertainment as the Vice President of Service Operations. In this role, they were responsible for Quality Assurance and Testing, Community, Customer Support, and Web Development. Richard then left Perpetual Entertainment in 2008 to join Cryptic Studios as the Director of Platform. Richard remained in this position until 2010 when they left to join Atari as the VP Platform and Shared Services.

Richard is currently the SVP of Player Experience at NCSoft. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all aspects of player experience, including customer support, community management, and QA.

They work with Tim Granich - VP of Marketing, Randall Price - SVP of Publishing, and Songyee Y. - President & CSO. Richard Zinser reports to Kim Taek-Jin, Founder & CEO.
