Stephen Clarke-Willson

Stephen Clarke-Willson is the current VP of Technology at NCSoft. Stephen has over 20 years of experience in the gaming industry, starting as VP, Worldwide Product Development for Virgin Interactive in 1990. There, they oversaw product development for 180 staff members in three locations, and increased gross sales from $30 million to $180 million. In 2000, they took on the role of Vice President and Executive Studio Director at Amaze Entertainment, where they were responsible for building the Adrenium studio from scratch to 50 staff members. Stephen also oversaw product development in the Black Ship Studio. In their current position at NCSoft, they are responsible for the technology across all products and platforms.

Dr. Stephen Clarke-Willson received their Ph.D. in Software Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine. Prior to that, they completed their high school diploma at Corona del Mar High School.

They are on a team with Richard Zinser - SVP of Player Experience, Randall Price - SVP of Publishing, and Tommy Sang Lee - VP of Product. Stephen Clarke-Willson reports to Kim Taek-Jin, Founder & CEO.
