Micah Greenland

International Director at NCSY

Micah Greenland has been working in the Jewish community for over 20 years. Micah started their career as a 9th grade Rebbe at HALB-SKA. Micah then went on to teach 12th grade Judaic Studies at Ida Crown Jewish Academy. After a few years in the classroom, Micah transitioned into a leadership role at the Chicago Rabbinical Council (CRC), where they served as Vice President for two years before becoming President. In December 2013, Micah left the CRC to become the International Director at NCSY. In this role, Micah oversees NCSY's overseas programs and is responsible for developing new initiatives to engage Jewish teens around the world.

Micah Greenland attended Yeshiva University, where they received a BA in Mathematics. Micah then pursued a career in Jewish Education at the Azrieli Graduate School, also at Yeshiva University. finally, they received Rabbinic Ordination from Yeshiva University.

They are on a team with Oran Bendelstein - Director of Chessed & Program Development Relief Missions, Josh Weinberg - Creative Director, and Amy Shamilov - Summer Programs Associate & Director of Logistics. Micah Greenland reports to Moshe Benovitz, Managing Director.
