Carol Rock

Carol Rock has extensive work experience in various leadership roles related to fundraising and partnerships. Carol has worked at NCT Charity as the Head of Partnerships and Development since June 2022. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at the University of Birmingham, where they held multiple positions, including Associate Director (Charitable Partnerships), Associate Director (Campaigns and Local Partnerships), and Head of Supporter Insight. Carol'sresponsibilities in these roles included developing charitable partnerships, managing fundraising campaigns, and applying data to support relationship growth. Before joining the University of Birmingham, Carol worked at Move Europe, The Prince of Wales Disability Partnership as a Project Executive, where they were responsible for shaping the charity's service delivery strategy and managing fundraising efforts.

Carol Rock earned a BA (Hons) 2:1 degree in Drama and Theatre Arts from the University of Birmingham. Carol then went on to pursue an MSc (Distinction) degree in Philanthropy, Grant making and Social Investment from Cass Business School. Additionally, Carol obtained a First Line Management certification from the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM). Carol also holds a Certificate of Fundraising Practice from the Institute of Fundraising and a Prince 2 Project Management certification from APM Group.
