James Houton

James Houton has extensive experience in government relations and lobbying. James served as Vice President of Government Relations at NCTA - The Internet & Television Association since 2019. Prior to this, they held roles such as Assistant Vice President of External Affairs at Union Pacific, Lobbyist at Elmendorf Strategies, and Director of Federal Gov. Affairs at Microsoft Corporation. James also worked as an Associate Director at the US Senate.

James Houton attended the University of Rochester from 1984-1988. James then pursued a Master's degree in U.S. History at New York University from 1988-1990. Finally, in 1990-1991, they studied History at the University of Virginia.
