Mary Beth Murphy has a diverse work experience in the legal and policy field. Mary Beth started their career as a Law Clerk at the United States District Court in 1990. Mary Beth then moved on to work as an Associate at Steptoe & Johnson LLP before joining the Federal Communications Commission in 1995. At the FCC, they held roles such as Chief of the Policy Division and Deputy Chief of the Media Bureau. In 2018, they transitioned to Facebook as a Public Policy Manager before taking on the position of Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at NCTA - The Internet & Television Association in December 2019.
