Michael Dean

Michael Dean has a diverse work history that spans over two decades. Starting in 1996 as a Regional Analyst at the Office of Naval Intelligence, they moved on to roles such as Staff Assistant and Executive Staff Assistant for United States Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. Michael also worked as an Executive Staff Assistant for the Office of the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives. Prior to their current position as Vice President of Government Relations at NCTA - The Internet & Television Association, Michael served as a PAC Manager at CTIA and an Economic Development Researcher at Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise.

Michael Dean holds a Bachelor's degree in History from Duke University, earned from 1993 to 1997. Michael then pursued an MBA in Corporate Finance and General Management from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School from 2001 to 2003. Prior to their university education, Michael Dean completed their high school education at Woodberry Forest School from 1989 to 1993. In addition, they obtained a certification in Cable Executive Management Program from Harvard Business School in 2022.
