Matthew M. Polka

Matthew M. Polka is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the communications and legal sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member at NCTI, Inc. since September 2022, Polka is dedicated to enhancing educational experiences for industry professionals. Previously, from May 1997 to July 2022, Polka held the role of President and CEO at ACA Connects, overseeing a national trade association for nearly 800 independent broadband, phone, and cable businesses. Their prior roles include Vice President and General Counsel at Star Cable Associates, where legal and regulatory advocacy were key responsibilities, and various attorney positions at Thorp Reed & Armstrong, LLP and Buchanan Ingersoll, where significant corporate and litigation expertise was developed. Polka holds a Juris Doctor from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from West Virginia University.
