Libby McVeigh is a seasoned professional in policy, governance, and legal consultancy, currently serving as Lead Consultant at NCVO since January 2023. Previous roles include Managing Director at User Voice and Director of Policy at The Law Society, where responsibilities encompassed leadership of large teams and significant budget management. McVeigh also held key positions at the Equality and Human Rights Commission, leading strategy and program design, and Fair Trials International, where the focus was on improving fair trial protections. Additional roles include Trustee at We Are Family Adoption and legal positions at various organizations. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent's University London, alongside advanced degrees in Human Rights Law and qualifications in legal practice and social sciences.
