Gustavo Parés

Gustavo Parés has held a variety of roles in the technology and finance industries since 2002. Gustavo began their career at ING Mexico as a Project Manager. In 2006, they became a Project Leader at L'Oréal Mexico and then a Senior Project Manager at Financial Services in 2007. In the same year, they also joined the Global Information Technology Management Association (GITMA) as President, Vice President, World Conference Local Chair, and Member. In 2009, they became a Partner and Chief Executive Officer at Financetech Mexico Delivery. In 2011, they were appointed Industry Chair Person and Latin America Track Chair at the Center for Global Outsourcing, and in 2015 they founded and became CEO of NDS Cognitive Labs. In 2016, they became President of the Board at ComputoCognitivo.com and in 2020 they became a Columnista at Merca2.0.

Gustavo Parés has a diverse educational background. Gustavo completed a Bachelor in Management Information Systems from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2002. In 2003, they earned an MBA from the same institution. In 2005, they completed an International MBA exchange from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In 2013, they obtained an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management. In 2014, they completed a STANFORD GSB YPO Soul of Startup from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, as well as a Changing the Game: Negotiation and Competitive Decision-Making from Harvard Business School. In 2018, they earned a High Performance Leadership from IMD.
