Jim Costain

Jim Costain has over 30 years of work experience in the non-destructive testing (NDT) industry. Jim currently serves as the Director of Strategic Accounts Eastern Hemisphere at NDT Global, where they began in October 2021 as the Director of Sales EMEAA. Prior to this, Jim held the position of VP Sales at Eddyfi from May 2016 to September 2021. Jim also served as the Group Sales Director at Silverwing UK Ltd from May 2015 to May 2016, where they played a crucial role in the design, development, manufacture, and sales of advanced NDT inspection equipment for the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries. Jim also has a significant background at General Electric, where they held various roles such as Global Sales Leader Measurement Solutions, Oil & Gas Segment Leader, and Global Account Manager from November 2004 to May 2015. Before that, they worked as a Sales Manager at RWE, UK Sales Manager at R/D Tech, Sales Manager at Sonomatic Limited, and Sales Specialist at Sonaspection International Ltd. Jim started their career as an NDT Technician at SGS and later worked as a Welder NDT flawed specimens at Sonaspection International Ltd.
