Ronny Lau

Ronny Lau serves as the Associate Director of Government Relations at the National Education Association since November 2018, managing a team of nine, including six federal lobbyists, to advocate for 3 million members. Prior experience includes roles at the National Association for Music Education as Manager and Federal Lobbyist, focusing on access to quality music education. Additional positions held at Fairfax County Public Schools included Public Policy Advisor and Drumline Instructor, along with fellowships in the U.S. House of Representatives and campaign management for local political candidates. Lau earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from James Madison University and completed the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership's Emerging Leaders Program at the University of Virginia in 2018.
