Dimitri van Baelen

Dimitri Van Baelen is an experienced professional in information management and data governance, currently serving as an Information Management Consultant at Neanex since October 2025. Prior to this role, Dimitri held the position of Data and Information Manager at the City of Mechelen from April 2016 to September 2025, managing a team of four and leading initiatives in master data management, data governance, and the integration of data systems. Previous to this, Dimitri worked as an Efficiency Project Manager at Indaver for over a decade, where responsibilities included project management and process improvement across multiple regions. Dimitri's career began in education as a Math Teacher and included a significant academic background as a Doctoral Student at K.U.Leuven, following a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the same institution.
