Hamed Sadeghian

Hamed Sadeghian is a distinguished engineer and academic with a robust background in mechanical and optomechatronics engineering. Currently serving as a Fellow at the Netherlands Academy of Engineering since November 2023, Hamed has held key leadership positions, including CEO and Chief Technology Officer at Nearfield Instruments B.V. since January 2016. Hamed's past roles include Associate Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology and Principal Scientist at TNO, where contributions to 3D-nanomanufacturing and optomechatronics have been notable. Hamed earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and an Executive MBA from Vlerick Business School, further enhanced by postdoctoral research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
